Tenth Circuit: Opinions, 5/19/10

The Tenth Circuit on Wednesday issued one published opinion and thirteen unpublished opinions.


United States v. McConnell, the defendant claimed the district court erred when it determined that his crime of “fleeing and eluding” was a “crime of violence” for purposes of sentencing under the United State Sentencing Guidelines, citing Chambers v. United States, 129 S. Ct. 687 (2009). The Court disagreed and affirmed his sentence.
